  2019 ALL-PSAC FOOTBALL WESTERN DIVISION FIRST TEAM (COACHES): LB Damon Lloyd, IUP, Sr., Bel Air, Md./John Carroll,...Lloyd also added to his All-Super Region One team collection after earning the honor for the third time in his career. Lloyd had previously earned second team and third team honors as a junior and sophomore. The senior linebacker was a monster for the IUP defense all season long, leading the entire PSAC in total tackles, while also picking up an interception, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries en route to being named 2019 PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Year. - Indiana (PA) Football

  2019 ALL-PSAC FOOTBALL WESTERN DIVISION SECOND TEAM (COACHES): RB Justice Evans, IUP, Jr., Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic,...Second team selections included grad transfer quarterback Quinton Maxwell, junior running back Justice Evans, redshirt junior running back Malik Anderson, redshirt senior receiver JoJo Gause, redshirt senior offensive tackle Ken Roman, redshirt sophomore tight end Jacob Watts, sophomore nose guard Dajour Fisher and redshirt senior cornerback JR Stevens. Evans and Anderson have been dynamic out of the backfield. Evans lead the team with 692 rushing yards, a 7.6 yards per carry average and seven touchdowns while Anderson, a third-down back, has 532 total yards on 71 touches. - Indiana (PA) Football

  2019 GENE UPSHAW DIVISION II LINEMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD FINALIST: Indiana (Pa.) center Jeff Arnold,...An All-America selection as a junior center in 2018, Arnold has earned three All-Super Region 1 selections in three seasons and is a four-time All-PSAC West pick. He has started 45 games in his career--missing just two because of an injury—including a recent streak of 26 in a row. Arnold's offense ranks in the top 15 nationally in total offense and passing yards and has scored 50-plus points a school record six times this season.   2019 PSAC WEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Damon Lloyd, IUP,...IUP senior Damon Lloyd was tabbed the Defensive Athlete of the Year and is the fourth Crimson Hawk to garner the merit. It marks the fifth time IUP has boasted the winner and first since 2008 (Terrence Jackson). The senior has spearheaded the league's toughest defense while IUP has allowed only 16 points per game. Lloyd leads the PSAC and is ranked 14th in DII in total tackles (111) and is 21st in the country in tackles per game (10.1). He was named West Defensive Athlete of the Week after recording 13 tackles in Week 11 against Shippensburg. Lloyd has recorded seven double-digit tackle games, including a season-high 14 against New Haven in IUP's season opener. He has accumulated 6.5 tackles-for-loss, six passes defended, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. - Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Football

  NOV 11 PSAC FOOTBALL WESTERN DIVISION DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Nazir Streater, IUP (Jr./CB), Palmyra, N.J./Camden Catholic,...Streater picked off two passes and broke up three more to lead an IUP defensive effort that limited Edinboro to 158 passing yards and six points in Saturday's win. Streater also finished with nine tackles and made a difference in the return game with 92 kickoff return yards on just three returns. Streater's two picks each came in the third quarter as IUP held Edinboro to 57 total yards on 18 plays. One of his three pass breakups also came in the third quarter. Streater now leads the PSAC in both interceptions (five) and passes defensed (14). - PSAC Football

  OCT 7 PSAC WESTERN DIVISION OFFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Duane Brown, IUP (So./WR), Spring Church, Pa./Apollo-Ridge,...Brown caught 4 passes for 126 yards and accounted for both IUP touchdowns in the 19th-ranked Crimson Hawks' 17-6 win over rival Cal U in the 11th annual Coal Bowl. Three of Brown's four receptions went for 20-plus yards, including touchdown catches of 60 and 34 yards. Both of his touchdowns came on 3rd and long - he burned a double-team for his 60-yarder for the first touchdown of the game in the third quarter and his 34-yard touchdown came on 3rd and 11 with just under four minutes to play to make it a two score game. It was the second straight 100-yard receiving game for Brown becoming the first IUP receiver since Walt Pegues in 2016.   SEPT 30 PSAC WESTERN DIVISION OFFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Duane Brown, IUP (So./WR), Spring Church, Pa./Apollo-Ridge,...Brown totaled 184 yards and four touchdowns in IUP's 56-24 win at Mercyhurst. Brown had a career receiving day, catching 7 passes for 153 yards and 3 touchdowns, while also running for a 3-yard touchdown out of the Wildcat formation. It was the biggest game by an IUP receiver since Walt Pegues had 14 catches for 233 yards at Slippery Rock in 2015.

The sophomore scored three straight touchdowns in the second and third quarters as the Crimson Hawks erased a Mercyhurst second quarter lead. Those three scores helped turn the tide as IUP scored 35 unanswered points. It was the most touchdowns by an IUP player since Samir Bullock rushed for 6 scores against Seton Hill in 2017. The 4 total touchdowns is the most by an opposing player against Mercyhurst since ESU's Robert Healy rushed for 4 scores in 2016. - Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Football

  SEPT 16 PSAC WESTERN DIVISION OFFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Quinton Maxwell, IUP (Sr./ QB), Rayville, Mo./Richmond R-XVI,...Maxwell completed 12-15 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns, rushing for a fourth score in just one half of action as the No. 24 Crimson Hawks defeated Millersville 54-0 Saturday. Maxwell had a 46-yard TD to Duane Brown on IUP's first play of the game and finished with five completions of 20 yards or more. In addition to the opening play, he also had TD tosses of 38 and 37 yards. The senior had a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, one of three scores accounted for in the opening 15 minutes. 248 first half yards helped IUP pass for 399 for the game, the sixth highest single game total in program history and the most since 407 yards in 2001. - Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Football
